I finally got my PoliSci grade fixed! Naturally I'm not happy. I ended up with a 77 in the course, which means I got a 73 on the take home exam. This is really odd because my essay mark usually boosts my overall mark (I received an 83 on the midterm). In this case it was the other way around. I am really upset by this mark. To me, a 73 is a fucking joke. Most people tell me that a "B" is a good mark; I disagree. It's average. I am fed up with average marks and don't need anymore of them dragging down my GPA! Ugh! I'm upset but really it's my fault. I suppose writing the paper the morning it was due did not help but I felt that it flowed well enough to merit an 80. It was only 1200 words (we were allowed up to 2500) but I doubt this is justification for the mark.

I have the same professor for my current PoliSci class. Obviously I'm going to have to make a better effort this term. I'm finding it difficult to get into the groove of school because I am only taking 3 courses. Next year, I'm clearly going to have drop some commitments and focus entirely on school (ie. take 4 courses, because hell, I'm too lazy for 5).

Bleh.
